QTIC would like to congratulate our members The Workshops Rail Museum on recently attaining Gold level accreditation as an AussieHost certified service provider.  The Workshops is the first museum in Australia to achieve AussieHost Gold Business status.

All staff from The Workshops Rail Museum participated in the onde day cutomer service course in May, as part of the museums ongoing commitment to providing excellent customer service.

QTIC would like to congratulate some of our members who have recently won various industry awards.

• Brisbane's Emporium Hotel has won the 'Best Small Luxury Hotel Category' for the second year running at the Australian Gourmet Traveller 2010 Travel Awards.
• Seaworld Resort & Water Park won ‘Getaway Best Family Experience'.
• The Kedron-Wavell Services Club was named 'Club of the Year' at the IGT & Clubs Queensland Awards for Excellence.

QTIC would like to congratulate the Queensland winners at the recent Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, held in Hobart on Friday 26th January 2010. All winners in the 6 Queensland won categories were QTIC members!

QTIC would like to John Sharpe, Founder and Director of Riverlife in Brisbane, for his recent win at the 2009 Australian Small Business Champion Awards, held on 14th November 2009. John was named as the Australian Small Business Champion Entrepreneur for 2009, while Riverlife was awarded the National Award for Tourism.
