What is the AussieHost Trainer Program?

AussieHost insists on a high standard from those trainers who facilitate the one-day training workshop. A two-day "Trainer Training" course is compulsory for all those trainers who aspire to facilitate AussieHost.

Trainer training is for those trainers who ideally have three years recent and relevant experience in customer service within a service industry and currently hold as a minimum, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

The program provides all trainers with the opportunity to participate in the AussieHost One-day workshop as a participant, and goes on to offer trainer support and development in specific AussieHost training techniques.

Day two is a train-the-trainer day focusing on the AussieHost course content and delivery style. Progressively during the two-day Trainer training workshop, the AussieHost National Trainer assesses all potential trainers for suitability as AussieHost Trainers. Successful candidates receive initial accreditation that entitles them to facilitate up to three workshops in preparation for full accreditation assessment by AussieHost National.

Through continual performance management, AussieHost ensures that each member of the AussieHost network reaches his/her potential. This is achieved by monitoring every trainer as an individual and collectively as part of a team.

How AussieHost Trainer Training provides a "Quality Assurance Mechanism"

AussieHost Trainer Training has provided AussieHost National with a quality assurance mechanism. It has ensured that the program is delivered not only by capable and qualified trainers, but by dynamic and inspiring facilitators.

It is crucial that the program is delivered by trainers who are "people orientated" and are genuinely interested in and at ease socially with others. Trainers must model the attitude and interpersonal skills covered in the program.

The two-day Trainer training has been successful in achieving this goal.  The availability of ongoing professional development for these leaders has ensured that the Trainers remain motivated, interested in matters relating to the subject matter of their training and up to date with the industry trends, and communication theory.

The success of AussieHost has, primarily, been based on the interpersonal and facilitation skills of the AussieHost trainer.
