COVID Clean is tailored to the health directives specific to the individual states and territories. If your business has operations in multiple states and territories, we recommend contacting the Australian Tourism Industry Council (03 9978 6802 or firstname.lastname@example.org) to ensure you address all criteria relevant to your operations.
Globally recognised through the WTTC Safe Travels program
The COVID Clean Practicing Business program has been recognised by the World Tourism and Travel Council's (WTTC) Safe Travels program. WTTC has designed the Safe Travels stamp to allow travellers to recognise companies around the world that have adopted standardised global health and hygiene protocols - so consumers can experience 'safe travels'.
To qualify for the WTTC Safe Travels stamp, you must:
Have an Industry Approved COVID Safe Plan documented for your business
Agree to and comply with the WTTC Safe Travels Protocols
Given all requirements are met, the WTTC Safe Travels stamp is provided upon completion of the COVID Clean Practicing Business module to display alongside the COVID Clean logo. Current COVID Clean operators can obtain it by re-opening their application in the online portal. Applicants new to the Quality Tourism Framework can create an account and apply here.
