In partnership, IAQ and Property Council of Australia are delighted to bring you this eagerly anticipated event. Tourism is booming in the State of Queensland creating both an opportunity and a need for infrastructure projects to support this growth within the industry. So where is this tourism demand coming from? And what is the role of infrastructure in meeting these demands?
Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) is a peak tourism industry body. As CEO of QTIC, Daniel Gschwind brings his knowledge and industry experience to IAQ members in a discussion about the tourism infrastructure pipeline, providing an important indication of the responses required by both public and private sectors to meet demands. Daniel Gschwind considers what can be learned from other parts of Australia, the Pacific Region and the rest of the world in order to capture the value of the boom in the tourism industry.
Daniel will be joined by expert panel members Matt Bekier (CEO & MD The Star Entertainment Group), Julieanne Alroe (CEO & MD Brisbane Airport Corporation) and Roy Cummins (CEO Port of Brisbane) for further discussion about the priorities and importance of tourism infrastructure and what it means for the Queensland infrastructure sector.
This panel will be moderated by Chris Mountford, Queensland Executive Director of the Property Council of Australia
