If you have the opportunity to attend one conference this year, the Year of Indigenous Tourism, Destination IQ is it. Each year the forum continues to grow, inform and bring together all sectors of the community to discuss and showcase the year that was, and the future for First Nations Tourism. DestinationIQ brings together business leaders, employers, government representatives, tourism organisations, native title holders and community organisations and thought leaders to discuss opportunities, issues and strategies that are influencing and shaping the operating environment for First Nations tourism in Queensland. Guests can expect a diverse range of speakers who bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge in a broad range of topics. Don’t be afraid to question, challenge and quiz our panelists, they’re here to answer questions and explore topic areas in depth. Given it’s the Year of Indigenous Tourism, we anticipate a record number of participants at this year's event so make sure you secure your place early. This year we are also holding a celebratory dinner to conclude the Year of Indigenous Tourism in Queensland. The dinner will be held shortly after the conclusion of the networking function following Destination IQ. Please note: The safety and welfare of guests and staff is of paramount importance to us and remains our top priority. QTIC is committed to delivering a COVID Safe event in compliance with BCEC's site specific COVID Safe Plan. We request that everyone at the event accept the safety measures in place and provide necessary details and declarations as required by government legislation.
