Ticketing
Why is DestinationQ now a ticketed event?
From 2025, DestinationQ will follow the same ticketed format as Destination IQ and the Queensland Tourism Awards. This change:
- Ensures a high-quality delegate experience
- Creates a fair access for all operators, members and non-members
- Allows QTIC to reinvest ticket revenue into industry capability and support programs throughout the year
- Strengthens DestinationQ as industry’s conference 0 delivering even more value for delegates and the broader tourism community
Are there QTIC Member rates?
Yes, QTIC Members can access tickets at the special rate of $129. For non-members, tickets are available at $229.

Will there be early bird discounts?
Yes, QTIC Members can access tickets at the special early bird rate of $99. For non-members, early bird tickets are available at $199.

Is there a limit on ticket purchases?
No, there is no limit. Businesses are welcome to purchase as many tickets as they wish.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are available up to 4 November 2025. After this time, tickets are non-refundable.
Program and event content
When will the full program be released?
The full-day program will be released in early October.
Will Ministers and government leaders attend?
Yes, there will be senior representation from the Queensland Government at the Forum.
Attendance and accessibility
Do I need to be a QTIC Member to attend?
No, the Forum is open to everyone.
Can students or emerging professionals attend?
Yes, all are welcome to attend the Forum!
Will the event be accessible?

Where is the event held and how do I get there?
The Forum will be held at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC), Plaza Ballroom, Plaza Level. Learn more about visiting BCEC here.

The Forum runs from 8:30am – 5pm, with networking drinks from 5 – 6pm.
Is all food provided?
Yes! Delicious food and drinks will be served throughout the day.

Where can I find parking and transport options?
Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) provides paid undercover parking. See parking rates.
Alternative parking is available at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre and South Bank Parklands – all in close proximity to BCEC.

What is Tourism Week?
The Queensland tourism industry’s premier events – the Destination IQ and DestinationQ Forums, and the Queensland Tourism Awards Gala Ceremony – combine to form the state’s annual Tourism Week.
How is DestinationQ different from Destination IQ
