The Back to Work program provides eligible businesses with support services and incentive payments to employ Queenslanders who have experienced a period of unemployment.

Employer Support Payment Scheme

The Employer Support Payment Scheme provides financial assistance to employers of Reserve members and self-employed Reserve members, when the Reserve member is away from their civilian workplace on eligible periods of continuous Defence service.

Youth Boost provides support payments of up to $20,000 to employers who hire an eligible unemployed Queenslander who is aged between 15–24 years.

C3G Plus - Back to Work

C3G Plus provides eligible jobseekers with a single “true second chance” opportunity to access subsidised training. 

The Certificate 3 Guarantee program supports eligible individuals to complete their first post-school Certificate III level qualification.

Free Apprenticeships for Under 25s

Free Apprenticeships for Under 25s covers the cost of your training when you choose a high priority apprenticeship or traineeship.

Fee-Free TAFE

There are a wide range of subsided training options available. Year 12 graduates can also access free TAFE courses in high priority areas through the Certificate 3 Guarantee program. 

User Choice

The User Choice program provides a public funding contribution towards the cost of training and assessment services for eligible Queensland apprentices and trainees.

The program allows apprentices, trainees and their employers to select a preferred registered training organisation (RTO) from a list of pre-approved suppliers for the delivery of accredited training to meet their specific needs.
