Michael discovered his passion for guiding over 27 years ago, when travelling the vast country of Australia.

He spent many years guiding in the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park and Armhemland. During the wet season, he decided to explore this amazing country on K’Gari, Daintree, Uluru and Katherine Gorge. Eventually, Michael accepted a five-year contract with National Parks and Wildlife managing Gunlom Campground. 

Michael’s vision to ‘connect people to nature, and nature with people’ grew, after opening his own nature-campground and starting BushTracks Eco Tours five years ago, in the beautiful beachside town of Agnes Water, Queensland.
