Workforce planning is about knowing who you need and what skills they should have to deliver a great Queensland experience now and into the future. For small and micro businesses, it helps you prepare for busy times and unexpected staff changes, so you can hire and train at the right time, avoid disruption, and keep things running smoothly.
How the support works

Complete the expression of interest form.
Our Industry Workforce Advisor will reach out to schedule an initial appointment.
This will be either in person, over the phone, or virtual.
Our Industry Workforce Advisor will commence regular sessions with your business to develop each of the areas from the above diagram as required.
You will receive a one-page actionable workforce plan.
Our Industry Workforce Advisor will continually follow up with you when relevant support initiatives arise including grants, incentives and other government programs.
Eligibility
You may be eligible for assistance under the Industry Workforce Advisor program if you are a small or medium business (up to 200 employees) registered in Queensland who:
-Operates a tourism or travel business, accommodation, hospitality, event management, tour operator etc.
-Wants support to develop a strategic workforce plan
