Have Your Say: SaCSA’s Jobs and Skills Council Roadshow Heads to Brisbane

Services and Creative Skills Australia (SaCSA) is inviting industry professionals to take part in face-to-face and online consultation workshops this November through March 2026, as part of the Jobs and Skills Council Roadshow.

These sessions are designed to gather valuable feedback on updated draft training products for the Tourism and Hospitality sectors, following six months of collaboration with industry and stakeholders.

What’s on the Agenda

VET Workforce

This workshop will bring together members of the vocational education and training community to explore trainer pathways, and to provide feedback on professional development and industry currency for SaCSA-related industries. Insights and experiences will help identify practical solutions and address barriers to trainer entry, development, and career progression in the VET sector.

Culinary Skills for Aged Care Food Service

Development of new Units of Competency to equip Chefs and Cooks with the specialised skills needed for aged care and similar settings. The work ensures training reflects the realities of modern kitchens, delivering better nutrition, greater wellbeing for older Australians, and a stronger Hospitality workforce.
