The Attractions, Experiences and Events Industry Reference Group supports the development of skills and training that underpin Queensland’s tourism, attractions and events sector. The group brings together industry leaders, employers and peak bodies to provide practical insights into workforce needs, emerging trends and future skills requirements.

Relevant qualifications

The work of the reference group focuses on nationally recognised qualifications spanning entry-level tourism roles through to advanced management pathways, including tourism operations, events, travel and tourism management. This industry-led advice helps build a skilled, adaptable and future-ready workforce for Queensland’s attractions and events industry.
