The Accommodation, Dining and Hospitality Industry Reference Group plays a vital role in shaping the skills and training landscape within Queensland’s hospitality sector. This group brings together experienced industry professionals, peak bodies and training experts to provide timely, high-quality insights into workforce needs, emerging trends, and the future direction of hospitality skills development.

Relevant Qualifications

The work of the reference group supports a suite of nationally recognised qualifications including Certificates I through IV, Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas in hospitality, cookery, patisserie and kitchen management. Through industry consultation and strategic advice, the group contributes to the continuous improvement of training products that build a skilled, adaptable and industry-ready workforce.
