What does a career in tourism and events actually look like? Our Tourism Careers Roadshows give Queensland students the chance to find out for themselves.
We bring students and local tourism businesses together for hands-on experiences, behind-the-scenes visits and real conversations with people working across the industry. It’s about opening students’ eyes to the huge range of careers on offer, while helping Queensland tourism build its workforce for the future.

Meet local tourism professionals, step behind the scenes of real businesses and try hands-on activities that bring different roles to life. Students can hear directly from employers, explore career pathways and build practical skills to help them take their next step.
Activities vary by location and may include skills sessions, VR experiences, business tours, job-readiness support and even opportunities to interview for local roles.
