Celebrating Queensland on the national stage
Queensland tourism took centre stage in Canberra, with regional destinations recognised among Australia’s best at the Top Tourism Town Awards. The visit also created important opportunities to connect with federal leaders and put key issues affecting Queensland’s tourism industry on the national agenda.
Queensland’s voice in Canberra
Thirteen Queensland tourism and events leaders joined QTIC in Canberra for two days of direct conversations with federal leaders. From workforce pressures and insurance costs to better visitor data and future investment, the delegation shared first-hand industry experiences and practical solutions with those shaping national policy.
