The QTIC Young Professionals Mentoring Program allows a competitive edge for employees in the industry who are 35 years or younger to gain professional development, knowledge and skills through the sharing of information and experience matched with a senior industry professional.

The 2019 Young Professionals Mentoring Program is now open for registration and applications.

Applications close at 5pm on Sunday 4 November 2018.

Running from February through to July, young professionals will be offered the opportunity to participate in scheduled monthly meetings structured to include relevant and individually tailored discussion topics and tasks.

The Mentor Experience

The QTIC Young Professionals Mentoring Program draws upon a wide selection of senior industry professionals across all industry sectors and parts of Queensland. Each mentee is matched individually with a mentor based on a range of factors such as location, industry sector and skill set.

We are seeking to connect with senior industry professionals who are interested in fostering the development of our industry’s young professionals:

  • Mentors can be based anywhere across Queensland in any industry sector.
  • Mentors must commit to 5 one-on-one sessions (in person/telephone/Skype/web) between February and July.
  • Mentors should be prepared to create a supportive environment that offers knowledge sharing with the mentee and establish a partnership based on trust, respect and professionalism. If you are interested in being a part of our respected program as a valued mentor, apply now.
