    1. Business Capability Program Launches Complimentary Workshops

      The Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) has today launched the 2019-20 Tourism Industry Business Capability Program (TIBCP).  More than 70 activities including mentoring, workshops and trade activities are available to Queensland tourism businesses to register today.

    3. Your Feedback is Requested for the First Nations Tourism Potentials Plan

      It is with great pleasure to share with you the draft First Nations Tourism Potential Plan (FNTPP) for your review and feedback.

      The FNTPP has been developed through extensive consultation with First Nations communities, tourism businesses, entrepreneurs and representative organisations. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to the development of the FNTPP. Your contribution ensures the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the tourism sector are heard, and together we can drive a positive future for First Nations tourism in Queensland.

    4. Talking to our Neighbours

      The Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) welcomed students and peers from the Province of Nusa Tenggara Timor (NTT) in Indonesia who are undertaking a Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality Training Program with Griffith University.

      QTIC Chief Executive Daniel Gschwind delivered an informative talk to discuss tourism in Australia and specifically QTIC’s role and an advocate and ‘voice for tourism’ to support sustainable tourism development.
